Annual Family Lobsterfest

Make plans to join us for the 34th Annual Lobsterfest
Friday, September 20th & Saturday September 21st, 2019
on the grounds of the New Canaan Historical Society

The Cause

Our Annual "Family Lobsterfest" event is our flagship fundraiser program. Last year, we served over 1,300 dinners for folks to eat-in or take-out. We are proud to have been able to raise over $35,000 for our campaign to generate funds to help distribute polio vaccines around the world and to fund grants to local not-for-profit organizations in the areas of Health & Wellness and Education.
With even more community support and attendees than ever before, let's make this year's "Annual Lobsterfest" bigger and better than ever !

The Dinner

Choose a fresh steamed Maine Lobster or Grilled Chicken Breast, combine with fresh picked native corn-on-the-cob, cole slaw, melted butter, desert and a water or soft-drink.  Dine under our tent or ask us to pack up your dinner to go.  Beer and wine available for purchase by the glass or by the bottle.
Private tents are available with advance reservation.... entertain your company staff, your best clients, your friends and neighbors, or organize a group outing for your organization or team.  No matter what, it's a win-win to support a great cause and have fun at the same time!

SPONSORSHIP Opportunities

Lobsterfest is a Community Event .... and we welcome the support of our local business partners.
Sponsorship levels are available starting at just $350 and we welcome donations of any amount.  New this year - get a lawn sign for display at the Lobsterfest AND as a bonus, your sign will also be displayed at the Community Cup Golf Challenge on October 2, 2019 co-hosted by the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of New Canaan.
For a $500 sponsorship, get the lawn sign plus FOUR tickets to Lobsterfest.

Volunteer Opportunities

Members of the Rotary Club of New Canaan, along with their familes, provide hundreds of volunteer hours to make Lobsterfest possible.  But we cannot do it all by ourselves and we welcome the help and support of other groups like the NCHS Service League of Boys (aka SLOBS), who have volunteered alongside our members for many years.  THANK YOU!

We hope to see you there.
